Alleged iPad mini headphone jacks leaked

The parts are the latest in a string of leaks as we approach the 7.85in tablet's predicted launch

Rumours have been hotting up about Apple's widely speculated iPad mini, which some reports suggest will launch this month. Now, alleged headphone jacks for the smaller tablet have been leaked on the web.

The parts, which were first spotted by Nowhereelse.fr on Thursday on a parts reseller site, have been leaked in both black and white, indicating that the 7.85in tablet will come in two colours.

Earlier this week, purported iPad mini back plates were leaked, suggesting that there could be an anodized aluminium Black & Slate model similar to the design on the new iPhone 5.

Current reports hint at a 17 October event from Apple, which could see the launch of the iPad mini, though some remain sceptical.
