Apple tells resellers 'make room for more iPads this September'

Deadline of September 12 to complete the work, hints that the new iPad mini could launch soon.

Apple has told its authorised resellers in Europe to dedicate more floor space to the iPad. The company has told its Apple Authorised Resellers that they have a deadline of September 12 to complete the work, hinting that the new iPad mini could launch soon.

The September 12 deadline has lead to speculation that the iPad mini may arrive in September, alongside the new iPhone. Other reports have suggested a launch of the iPad mini in October, however.

Resellers have also told MacRumors that Mac Pro and Mac mini desktop Macs are being removed from stores and iPod displays are being trimmed back.

The changes have been rolled out over the past three months and are thought to better reflect the revenue share that the iPad brings in.

New reports suggest that the widely speculated iPad mini will look like a big iPod touch, with thin side bezels, separate volume buttons and a microphone on the back.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
