Apple's Wozniak speaks about Microsoft and Surface

The Apple co-founder wants to own a Surface tablet, he revealed at a press conference

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has spoken about Microsoft's Surface during a press conference at Entel Summit in Chile last week.

During the conference, Wozniak said: "I'm glad that Microsoft is starting to show maybe they're a different company than before, I don't remember this sort of thing happening in a long, long time with Microsoft, so I'm very happy."

Wozniak also reiterated his thoughts about Windows Phone. In April, he said that he believes Microsoft hired a former Apple employee to work on the Windows Phone user interface, which he called 'beautiful'.

On the subject of Microsoft's Surface, Wozniak revealed that he wants to own the newly announced tablet, but has declined to give judgement on the device until he has tried it out for himself.
