Cut-price Agora Android tablets sold by Australian online retailer Kogan have sold out in less than four days, the company has revealed.

Earlier this week, the company announced two budget Android tablets, both running the latest 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich version of Google's Android operating system. The Agora 10in tablets come in 8GB and 16GB models and are priced at $179 and $199, respectively.

A Kogan spokesperson confirmed that initial stocks of the Android tablets sold out around midday yesterday. The company has confirmed another production run is scheduled shortly, but refused to specify a date or time period.

"Kogan is working on another production run right now, and it will be available for sale shortly," the spokesperson said.

Customers who pre-ordered and Agora tablet in the initial first batch are likely to receive the device in the last week of June.

Both Agora tablets feature a 10in capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024x768, come with a HDMI port for connecting the device to a high definition television and have a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera.

The sell out comes on the back of increased competition in the cut-price Android tablet market, with rival vendors pushing products that undercut the Apple's market leading but higher priced iPad.

German supermarket chain Aldi will next week begin selling a 9.7in Android tablet running Google's latest Ice Cream Sandwich software for just $249. The device has very similar specifications to both Kogan Agora models.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
