Canon to give away 25 EOS cameras to celebrate the iconic camera's 25th birthday

Share your favourite photo, taken in the last 25 years, for your chance to win!

Canon is celebrating the birthday of its iconic EOS SLR range by giving away $25000 worth of cameras — or 25 EOS cameras.

To enter the competition, you'll have to "like" the Canon Facebook page, as well as enter your favourite photo, which you have taken yourself (or ones you have permission to use if you haven't taken them yourself) any time in the last 25 years. Those of you who took your most favourite photo in the world before 1987 are out of luck!

The Canon EOS SLR first came out in 1987 and was a 35mm film camera. Well over 40 different models have been released to this day, the latest being the EOS 5D Mark III, which is a full-frame camera targetting high-end enthusiasts and professionals.

For all the details of the competition, head on over to Canon's Facebook page.
