Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 new season content available now on Xbox LIVE

After recently announcing its season of monthly content for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision Blizzard has released its first batch of DLC (downloadable content) for the game starting with a pair of all-new multiplayer maps.
Call of Duty Elite Drop 1 consists of the multiplayer map "Liberation", which is set in a militarized Central Park in NYC and is designed for long-range sniper and LMG kills.
Elite Drop 2 consists of the "Piazza" map, which is set in an Italian seaside village that makes use of blind corners and branching pathways for intense close-quarters combat.
To mark the release of the new content drops on Xbox LIVE, a specialised community screen shot event that focuses on the new maps will be run by the Call of Duty Elite community, where users have a chance to win real-world prizes.
The Liberation and Piazza maps are the first two of twenty new Content Drops that Activision Blizzard will be rolling out once a month over the next nine months for Call of Duty Elite premium members on Xbox LIVE.

Activision Blizzard Just as well as the COD Series is played out People on PS3 Can't even download the map packs even with Elite Premium Membership? Pfft Activision's a bunch of money hungry pricks. i returned my modern warfare 3 and bought Battlefield 3 way better video game with NO Glitches and EA Aren't As Money Hungry As Activision. i wonder how much they paid VGA for Mw3 To win Best Shooter of the Year

Hopefully we get several more maps next time. MW2 I paid $25 for 10 new maps compared to $49 for just 2 so far...more maps please or the Elite really isn't worth it.

Terry, they're releasing 20 maps over the next 9 months. $25 for 10 maps or $50 for 20 is the same deal, really. Frankly, I'd rather have 20 maps. I got pretty darn tired of all 10 of those maps before blops came out, didn't you?

Perhaps Activision should focus on fixing the game first. Glitches, lag, hacks....on and on. How much have you made on it so far? A billion? fixing glitches? Chump change and yet...nothing.

I think that activision is doing just fine and battlefeild is not even close to as good as modern warfare 3. People need to just stop complaining and if you dont like the game so much then dont play it. Btw the glitches make the game fun!
