Poor Duke, he just can't catch a break. He's been delayed once again. Well, for a month--from May 6 back to June 14, so just after E3 2011.

"Duke Never Comes Early" reads 2K's press release, and I'll leave you to make what you will of that.

As for the rest, 2K president Christopher Hartmann says the company's on track "to deliver a laugh-out-loud, politically incorrect experience that people will talk about for years to come," promising the eleventh hour hold-up "won't take another 15 years."

The company won't say why it's delaying the game, but we can probably surmise it's about last minute bug squashing and a final polish. We can hope, anyway. The last thing anyone needs is for this thing to ship bug-riddled.
