Acer unveils Revo 100 media centre PC

Acer today announced that it will launch a new media centre PC in April. The Acer Revo 100 includes a combination touchpad and touch keyboard that slots inside the PC's case when not in use.

The Revo 100 will cost $999 and runs an AMD Athlon II Neo dual-core CPU and NVIDIA's ION graphics platform. The rest of the configuration includes up to 4GB of RAM, up to 750GB of hard disk storage, Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking, and support for Acer's clear.fi media sharing system. A configuration that includes a 3D Blu-ray player will be available.
