The ultimate birthday gift for an Angry Birds fan? A playable cake

A lovingly constructed Angry Birds cake

Angry Birds has taken the world by storm. Initially launched on the iPhone, the game, which involves catapulting the titular avians at structures protecting their porcine enemies, has spread to Android, Symbian, Windows and other platforms.

You can pick up Angry Birds merchandise, knock-off 'tribute' games, and even a board game. In Sydney, it's hard to get a train without seeing at least one commuter in your carriage playing the game.

While we like the tasty-looking Angry Birds bento, we think this is the ultimate Angry Birds tribute: A lovingly created Angry Birds cake constructed for a six-year-old's birthday. Best of all, there are instructions for making your own Angry Birds cake.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
