How many times have you gone to plug in a USB device, only to get it wrong and try to plug it in upside down? Ultratek is guessing that it's a fairly common occurrence, and it's recently introduced a USB connector that can be inserted regardless of its orientation.

With Ultratek's upcoming USB connector, known as the Flipper, it won't matter whether you plug in a USB connector upside-down or right-side-up.

Whereas a normal USB connector is half filled with plastic, the Flipper does away with the plastic. Instead, the device has a thin connector strip within the center of the USB plug with connection contacts on both sides; allowing users to essentially plug and play without even having to look.

It's a simple change, but one that will no doubt please many.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
