The original Puzzle Quest was on eight different systems

While D3 Publishing is currently working on bringing the next chapter of the Puzzle Quest franchise to the Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS, Namco Networks will deliver the game to PCs as well as Apple's portable iPhone and iPad platforms.

The original Puzzle Quest was quite the platform polygamist, spreading the puzzle-RPG love to eight different systems. It seemed as though Puzzle Quest 2 would be a little more conservative in its console choice --D3 has only stated that it will publish Nintendo DS and Xbox 360 versions thus far-- but Namco Networks announced that it will help launch three newly-announced versions of the upcoming sequel. Puzzle Quest 2 will be coming to the PC this summer, with iPhone and iPad versions coming in "end of fall/early winter" time frame, a Namco Networks representative told GamePro.

The Nintendo DS version of Puzzle Quest 2 is due on June 22, with the Xbox 360 version to come during the summer. You can read about our hands-on time with Puzzle Quest 2 in this preview.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
