engin offers VoIP phone systems for Australian SMBs

Harris Technology partners with engin on hosted VoIP phone systems for small to medium businesses.

Broadband telephony company engin is offering hosted VoIP phone systems for small to medium businesses throughout Australia in a partnership with Harris Technology.

VoIP — voice over IP — relies on an Internet connection to relay calls rather than a traditional copper wire framework.

An engin Hosted Phone System with four single-line handsets will sell for $752; eight handsets including two four-line handsets will sell for $2122 and 12 handsets with two four-line handsets for another $2874. engin's monthly access fee for four phone lines and 10 phone numbers starts from $41.50 per month, while local and national calls are charged at a flat rate of 10 cents per call, mobile calls at 17 cents per minute, and international calls start from 1.9 cents per minute. Free engin-to-engin calls are included.

Free installation and ongoing support is available for all engin Hosted Phone System purchases made before 31 March. Customers will also receive a $50 credit per handset on any phone plan.
