Apple's Black Friday sales will hit Australia on Friday November 26

Apple is set to bring traditional US "Black Friday" sales to Australia, kicking off the Christmas retail sale rush.

Black Friday, the Friday after Thanksgiving in the US, is a highlight of the American shopping calendar, with sales across most retail stores.

This year, the one-day sale will also occur in Australia on 27 November at the Apple Online Store and selected Australian Apple retail stores. Australian customers can also order via telephone (133 622) on the day.

In typical Apple style, the actual products on sale won't be revealed until tomorrow. Apple has already announced free laser engraving and signature gift wrapping on any new iPod, and the option to reserve your gift for pickup between 15 and 24 December, in time for a Christmas gift.

The Boy Genius Report leaked an apparent US brochure of Apple's Black Friday sales, which included iMacs, iPods, MacBooks and accessories, but not the iPhone.
