FxFactory updated for Final Cut Studio 3

Noise Industries has announced that its FxFactory plug-ins for Apple's Final Cut Pro and Motion are now compatible with the recently released Final Cut Studio 3. The update to FxFactory also makes others plug-ins that uses the FxFactory architecture compatible too.

The FxFactory product line includes over 200 visual effects plug-ins optimized for real-time performance on the Mac platform. As well as Final Cut Studio, FxFactory runs under After Effects CS3/CS4 on the Mac. Compatible plug-ins are available from Boinx, DV Shade, Idustrial Revolution, SUGARfx, and Yanobox.

The base FxFactory is free, and is required for any of the commercial plug-ins to run. FxFactory Pro includes 147 plug-ins and costs US $399. Additional plug-in packages are available for free, with the commercially ones starting at US $29.
