Zotac graphic cards to come bundled with trials of Badaboom Media Converter, vReveal, Super LoiLoScope Venus and BitDefender's Internet Security.
From August onwards, buyers of Zotac's GeForce series of graphics cards will now receive a little bit extra software bundled into the package, besides just the drivers themselves. Labelled "ZOTAC Boost" by the company, the bundle consists of 30-day trial versions of three video applications and a 90-day trial of a virus scanner.
These video applications are meant to help users utilize their graphics cards (through NVIDIA's CUDA technology) for tasks that might otherwise have bogged down the Processor instead. These video applications are - Elemental Technologies' Badaboom Media Converter (for video conversion between file-formats), MotionDSP's vReveal (to enhance low-quality videos visually) and LoiLo Inc's Super LoiLoScope Venus (editing and processing videos recorded by HD/SD digital video cameras).
BitDefender's Internet Security helps provide system protection, with virus scanning, anti-phishing and anti-malware, and parental controls. Higher-end graphics cards from Zotac may include a free game too, besides the basic drivers and the "Boost" bundle.
