Newly released video and screens have leaked today of a mobile version of Resident Evil 4, which will be coming to Japanese iPhone and iPod Touch users later this month.

A gameplay video shows that the game will play very similarly to its console counterparts, with the controls mapped similarly to other iPhone action games.

Graphically the game looks like it will maintain the look and feel of the original game, but with controls overhauled to work on the mobile platform. News is scarce right now, but keep an eye out for Resident Evil 4 in an App Store near you soon.
