Internode increases data allowance for NodeMobile Data

Australian ISP Internode has boosted data allowances for its NodeMobile Data mobile broadband service

Internode has increased data allowances for its NodeMobile Data service, first launched in April.

NodeMobile Data provides 3G wireless broadband access to Internode’s national network, making it an alternative to mobile broadband from the four main Australian telcos (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and 3 Mobile).

Internode will charge $14.95 for 500MB of data per month and $39.95 for 5GB, a boost from 250MB and 3GB, respectively.

Internode product manager Jim Kellett said the increased quotas come as the first month of NodeMobile Data has demonstrated that the service "works seamlessly". "We’ve increased quotas to put out the welcome mat for even more customers," he said.

Internode confirmed that all existing NodeMobile Data customers will automatically receive the increased data allowances.

The NodeMobile Data offers customers the option not to be tied into an ongoing contract, and the doesn't charge excess data fees should users exceed their monthly data limit.

NodeMobile Data uses a Huawei E169 3G USB modem — the same hardware used by the the Virgin Mobile Broadband and Optus Wireless Broadband.

The NodeMobile Data service can be purchased for $199 without a contract, but is free when tied to a 24-month contract.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre x360

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

Windows 10 / Lenovo Yoga 910

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
