Seagate portable drive buyers get free short films

Free short films with FreeAgent Go portable hard drives

Short film network Future Shorts has partnered with Seagate to offer free downloads of short films to people who buy one of the company's FreeAgent Go portable hard drives.

The sleek pocket-sized device is available in capacities of up to 500GB.

The short form content provider has compiled a selection of shorts in one hour packages from its pool of over 1,000 directors worldwide . The promotion allows FreeAgent Go buyers a choice of downloading one of five themed packs: 'Laughter', 'Love', 'Music', 'Award Winners' and 'Animation'.

Buyers download the packs from a special Seagate website.

The 'Lights, Camera, Action' promotion runs until September 30, 2009 and is available in the UK, France, Germany and Italy.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
