Atari has confirmed that its hotly anticipated Ghostbusters video game will now be exclusive to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 in PAL territories. The game was originally slated to appear on all current video game consoles, including the Nintendo Wii, DS and Xbox 360.

The exclusive deal only affects PAL territories, including Europe and Australia. North American gamers will still receive the game across all formats.

In a press release from Atari, it has been revealed that the game will now be published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe in the affected territories and will "benefit" from a worldwide launch and licensing campaign by Sony Pictures Consumer Products.

Jim Wilson, CEO of Atari, said: "Through Atari's North America publishing business and alongside our partners at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, we have a strategically diversified approach to maximise a title of this magnitude on a global basis."

He continued: "As excitement in the marketplace continues to accelerate around this title and the 25th anniversary of the movie's release, Ghostbusters' large and loyal fan base and gamers across North America can play Ghostbusters: The Video Game across all major platforms."

Ghostbusters: The Videogame will be available from 16 June in the US for Xbox 360, Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii and Nintendo DS. The game will appear in PAL regions on 19 June, for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2. A PSP version of the game is scheduled for worldwide launch in Spring 2009.

PAL countries get screwed yet again. I'm guessing pirated versions of the US releases for the other formats will appear quickly after this news.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
