Digieffects debuts warping plug-in for After Effects

New 3D tools for Adobe After Effects

Digieffects has released FreeForm AE, a warping plug-in for Adobe After Effects that allows users to manipulate a flat object using a mesh in 3D space.

Digieffects says that FreeForm AE offers the same power and control of 3D applications right inside After Effects, with all controls for manipulation right inside the After Effects comp window. The plug-in can bend, twist, distort, and shape layers, with dozens of presets included to save time. 3D displacement mapping is supported.

The plug-in is powered by a proprietary, full 3D rendering engine that Digieffects says quickly provides beautiful, high-quality renders.

FreeForm AE costs U.S$299.
