Plantronics today announced three new sets of gaming headphones: the GameCom 777, the GameCom 377 and the GameCom 367.

The Plantronics GameCom 777 is an over-the-ear headset with a recommended retail price of $149. The headset features virtual 5.1 surround sound, a noise-cancelling microphone that folds into the headband and Dolby Pro Logic II stereo.

The $99 Plantronics GameCom 377 is an open-ear gaming headset while the $79 Plantronics GameCom 367 is a closed-ear headset. Both feature noise-cancelling microphones that tuck into the headband and in-line microphone/volume controls.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
