Final release of Opera 9.5 goes live

Faster browser with increased phishing protection.

The final release of Opera 9.5 is now available to download.

The redesigned web browser boasts a clean and simple interface with new icons as well as a number of new functions including Opera Link, which ensures surfers can synchronize their bookmarks on their mobile phone, desktop or Wii even if using different versions of a browser.

Opera 9.5 also benefits from the Quick Find function that allows users to type keywords into the address bar and search the browser's history for matches.

Opera also claims that the speed of the browser has been improved while collaborations with Haute Secure, Netcraft and PhishTank offer increased phishing protection.

The browser, which is available in 30 different languages, works with Mac, Linux and Windows.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
