Nintendo on Friday said that Smash Bros. Brawl will include timed-demos of Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Kirby's Adventure, Super Metroid, and more.
"For the first time ever, you can play trial versions of these games by the miracle of Virtual Console," reads a statement from the official Smash Bros. Brawl Web site.
A partial list of games to be featured include Ice Climber, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Kirby's Adventure, Kid Icarus, Super Metroid, and Star Fox 64. "You won't need to be connected to Nintendo WFC to play these games," said a Nintendo representative.
The news is a first for Wii, which trails both Xbox 360 and PS3 in terms of giving players a chance to try games before they buy. A complete list of available Virtual Console games can be found here.
