Internode and Bluebox team up to deliver Video on Demand

Bluebox Devices has selected Internode's broadband network as the test bed for its forthcoming Video on Demand (VoD) service.
As part of the deal, which was announced earlier in the month, Internode customers will be given early access to the VoD service developed by the Melbourne-based company.

However, no live date has been set.
"[We] don't expect a formal launch date until the first half of next year," said John Harris, a representative for Internode.
He said Internode didn't have many details of the service to release as it was only supplying access and technical support.
In a statement, Bluebox Devices chief operating officer Getha Somasundaram explained how customers will access their content.
"The Meander software application will enable [the customer] to browse our content library, download content, and experience our Paid for View payment system".
Internode has expressed interest in giving their customers access to more VoD services in the future. PC World is currently waiting on a comment from Bluebox Devices.
Last week destra signed a content supply agreement with Bluebox to make its movie titles available through Bluebox's upcoming VOD system.
